Essay on the 'Taj mahal'
There are many beautiful and worth seeing buildings in India. But Taj Mahal at Agra is the most beautifui of them all.Taj Mahal was built about three hundred years ago by the Mugal Emperor, Shahjahan, in the memory of his beloved Queen Mumtaz Mahal. It is a dream in marble. My friend and I visited the Taj during the last summer vacation. Its vision cast a spell over me. It stood in unique majesty.
What a fine lay-out indeed. This is all I could say on the spot. It looked white on all sides. The green grass and the green shoots of cypress trees adorned its majestic beauty. Nature's beauty made the building look all the more beautiful.

A fall moonlit night followed in a couple of days. We visited the Taj again that night. Its beauty shone brightly in the silvery light of the moon. It was a sight for gods to see. My joy knew no bounds when I saw the reflection of the Taj in the Yamuna.
A clear picture of marble could be seen. I closed my eyes and opened them again to find if it was a reality. May, it was not a dream. As God is there to bestow nature's beauty, man's hand is there to create wonderful pieces of art and architecture.
How man could be so perfect in working out minutest details of art ! The Taj is even now with me. And I can still see its beauty with my mind's eye as and when I desire to do so.
